Quick Tips for Managing Time as a Woman with ADHD

December 31, 20221 min read

My short but sweet favorite time management hacks as a woman with ADHD.

In the spirit of managing time well, today's post is a quick read. Use one of the strategies below for a week and see the difference for yourself!

Adult women with ADHD face many distractions and time management challenges. Find out how to avoid them with these simple yet effective hacks. ADHD makes it hard for adults to focus and stay on task. In addition, ADHD adults often have difficulty managing their time, which can make it challenging to complete tasks in a timely manner.

As an adult woman with ADHD, you can be a prolific worker and multitasker, but you also need to guard against distractions and make sure you are maximizing your productivity. These productivity hacks will help you avoid distractions, shorten task time, increase energy and keep up with the pace of modern life.

  • Set aside a specific time each day to complete tasks

  • Create a routine, instead of trying to manage your ADHD symptoms by multitasking

  • Schedule breaks throughout the day to avoid burnout and increase focus

  • Start each task with an outline and plan in mind so you can stay on track; bonus points if it's one that fits on one page so you can tape it to your workspace in plain view.

Whether you medicate or not, you can use these strategies to help make your life easier. They're about moving from being reactive to your world to being proactive so that you can enjoy the many things that ADHD offers you.
